According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 12:12 p.m. on November 12 on the eastbound offramp from State Route 52 to Mast Boulevard. Authorities said the woman was driving alone when, for unknown reasons, her vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed into a traffic light pole.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after the accident but were unable to save the driver. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
