According to reports, the Texas Department of Public Safety said the man was operating a Kubota skid steer and working on guardrails in the median when the eastbound semi-truck hit him. Protect Your Rights After a Fatal Accident Today

When a worker is killed in a construction zone crash, surviving family members may be entitled to compensation through wrongful death claims and, in some cases, workers’ compensation benefits. Legal action can help recover damages for funeral costs, lost wages, medical expenses, and emotional loss. It is critical to act quickly to preserve evidence such as crash scene data, driver logs, and safety compliance records. An experienced attorney can investigate the circumstances, work with accident reconstruction experts, and represent the family’s interests in court if necessary. Early legal intervention can be crucial in ensuring accountability and securing financial support.
