Jefferson County, FL (January 25, 2026) – Two people were killed and one person was injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred early Thursday morning on U.S. Highway 90 near Abram Road in Jefferson County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, troopers responded to the scene shortly before 1:00 a.m. on January 23. Investigators determined that a pickup truck traveling west on US 90 crossed the center line and veered onto the shoulder, where it collided with a tree.
The driver was transported to Tallahassee Memorial and later pronounced deceased. A front-seat passenger, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital. A rear passenger who was not restrained was pronounced dead at the scene. Jefferson County EMS, Fire Rescue, and sheriff’s deputies assisted at the scene.
The roadway was temporarily closed during the response. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
