Napa County, CA (September 8, 2025) – A devastating solo-vehicle crash in Napa County claimed the lives of six individuals and left two others severely injured on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 5:50 p.m. on September 7 in the 6100 block of Pope Valley Road, about 12 miles north of St. Helena. A southbound Toyota Sienna minivan veered off the road and collided with a tree in a rural part of the county.
First responders discovered multiple occupants inside the vehicle. Six people were tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Two additional victims, including the driver of the minivan, were airlifted to area hospitals with major injuries. CHP confirmed that the driver was under the influence at the time of the crash and was later arrested for DUI while receiving treatment at the hospital.
