FORT WORTH, TX (August 13, 2025) – A deadly collision early Monday morning brought traffic to a standstill near downtown Fort Worth.
According to reports, the crash occurred at approximately 6:26 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 near the U.S. 287 interchange. Police say at least five vehicles were involved. A passenger in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other major injuries were reported, but the severity of the crash led to a full closure of westbound Interstate 30. Traffic delays extended past Woodhaven Boulevard as of 8:31 a.m., and motorists were advised to seek alternate routes. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the events that led to the fatal wreck.
