Geneva, FL (June 8, 2025) – A devastating multi-vehicle crash in the Geneva area Saturday morning left one person dead and several others injured, authorities confirmed.

According to reports, the crash occurred shortly after 9 a.m. June 7 on State Road 46 near West Osceola Road. The Seminole County Fire Department reported that a Dodge pickup truck, an SUV, and a van were involved. Following the collision, the Dodge pickup truck caught fire.

Tragically, a 68-year-old man in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. A 67-year-old woman was transported to the hospital as a trauma alert, while two others were also taken to local hospitals for further treatment. The driver of the Dodge, a 36-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries and refused transport, as did the driver of the van.

State Road 46 was closed in both directions as the Florida Highway Patrol began investigating the cause of the collision.
