The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene at the eastbound 134 Freeway connector to the southbound 5 Freeway in Griffith Park around 12:50 a.m. They discovered a gray sedan overturned with severe damage.
One of the occupants was ejected from the vehicle due to the force of the crash, while two others were trapped and required rescue using hydraulic tools. A fourth occupant managed to escape the wreckage without assistance.
