Pittstown, NY (May 30, 2025) – A New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) worker was severely injured Thursday afternoon following a serious crash that closed part of Route 7 for several hours during the evening commute.
According to reports, the incident occurred just before 2:30 p.m. near Campbell Lane, not far from the Tomhannock Reservoir. Authorities said the worker was struck by a vehicle while in an active work zone.
