Lee County, GA (January 21, 2026) – A two-car accident sent both vehicles into separate ditches Saturday night, January 17, at the intersection of U.S. Highway 19 and Cedric Street in Lee County. The collision occurred around 9:45 p.m. and prompted a multi-agency emergency response.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, a Mercury Grand Marquis was reportedly following a Nissan Rogue too closely and driving too fast for road conditions. The Mercury struck the rear of the Rogue, causing both vehicles to veer off in opposite directions.
