According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal crash occurred around 12:45 p.m. on September 30 along Highway 6 near County Road 105. Officials say a passenger vehicle was traveling the wrong way in the northbound lanes of the highway when it struck an oncoming 18-wheeler in a head-on crash.
The violent impact caused the semi-truck to overturn, while the passenger car burst into flames. Tragically, both occupants of the vehicle—71-year-old Christopher Woycheshin and 67-year-old Terry Woycheshin of Marlin—were pronounced dead at the scene.
