According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash took place around 8:44 a.m. on August 26, 2025, near the intersection of St. Clair Avenue and Lakeview Road, close to a Shell gas station. The suspect vehicle—a champagne-colored Nissan Sentra—was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit a female pedestrian.
Witnesses stated that three individuals wearing ski masks exited the vehicle and fled on foot toward Taft Avenue. The victim, described as a woman in red clothing, was later found sitting at a nearby bus stop with visible injuries. A red vehicle was also reported blocking part of the road in connection with the crash scene.
