The accident occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. on February 15 and involved a 2025 Honda CR-V and a 2010 Mercury Milan.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Honda CR-V, operated by Bradley Stanley of Newark, was traveling northbound on State Route 60 when it was struck head-on by a southbound Mercury Milan that crossed left of center. Two passengers in the Honda, Brooklyn Stanley and Mackenzie Lawrence, both of Newark, sustained critical injuries. They were transported to Genesis Hospital, where they later died.
