Tulare County, CA. (October 8, 2025) – Two people tragically lost their lives in a collision Saturday morning at a rural intersection just north of Visalia in Tulare County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 10 a.m. on October 4 at the intersection of Avenue 320 and Road 132. A 2007 Lexus sedan was stopped in the eastbound lane of Avenue 320 and began crossing into the intersection when it was struck by a southbound Jeep Wrangler on Road 132.
The impact of the crash resulted in fatal injuries for the driver of the Lexus, who was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Lexus was transported to a hospital, where they later died as a result of their injuries.
The Jeep driver sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized. Authorities are still working to determine what led up to the fatal crash.
