Lake Elsinore, CA (August 12, 2025) – A 25-year-old motorcyclist was injured Monday afternoon in a solo crash along Highway 74 in Lake Elsinore. The accident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. on August 11 in the westbound lanes near Tenaja Truck Trail.
According to reports, the rider was operating a Kawasaki Ninja when the motorcycle left the paved roadway and struck a dirt embankment. California Highway Patrol officers and Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department crews responded to the scene.
The motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries, prompting the dispatch of a medical helicopter. The helicopter landed at the Ortega Highway Candy Store before transporting the patient to a local trauma center for further treatment. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
