Cabazon, CA (November 11, 2025) – A Beaumont man was seriously injured Monday afternoon when he was struck by a big rig while walking along eastbound Interstate 10 in Cabazon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. just east of Main Street. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found a 64-year-old male pedestrian suffering from major injuries. He was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. His condition has not yet been made public.
The driver of the semi-truck remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No additional injuries were reported, and no citations or arrests have been made at this time. Officials have not yet determined what led to the man being on the roadway or how the crash unfolded.
