San Diego, CA (December 28, 2025) – A two-vehicle rollover crash left two people injured Wednesday night near Fifth Avenue in the Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene just before 8:00 p.m. on December 24.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a sedan traveling around 45 miles per hour was T-boned in an intersection, causing the vehicle to roll twice before coming to rest upright. A 32-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, both occupants of the sedan, self-extricated from the vehicle before medics arrived. Both suffered moderate injuries and were transported by Medic 56 to Scripps Mercy Hospital for evaluation and treatment. Airbags deployed on all sides of the sedan, and no signs of intoxication were reported.
