According to reports, the accident took place around 1:13 p.m. on July 24 at the intersection of State Route 43 and McCombs Avenue. The California Highway Patrol said the crash involved a green Chevrolet pickup and a red Ford pickup. Emergency crews responded swiftly, temporarily blocking the roadway to manage the scene.
Due to the high volume of 911 calls, fire officials requested an expedited CHP response. One injured person was transported to a nearby hospital by family members, with officials later working to confirm arrival at Delano Regional Medical Center.
