According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 1 p.m. near milepost 284 by the SR-92 exit in Utah County. Authorities say one person suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The crash initially blocked multiple southbound lanes, including the HOV lane, and caused heavy congestion between Draper and Lehi. By late afternoon, UDOT Traffic confirmed all lanes had reopened, but advised drivers to expect residual delays in the area.
