Ventura County, CA (December 28, 2025) – A serious crash involving two vehicles left one person critically injured Thursday morning on State Route 126 at Boosey Road in Ventura County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 11:13 a.m. on December 25. Fire crews with the Ventura County Fire Department arrived to find one driver trapped inside a heavily damaged vehicle. Using rescue tools, firefighters were able to free the individual within ten minutes.
The critically injured driver was airlifted from the scene for emergency medical treatment. The second driver involved was transported by ground ambulance in stable condition. SR-126 was temporarily closed but was reopened to traffic around 12:49 p.m.
