DeSoto, TX. (November 9, 2025) – A complex and tragic series of collisions along Interstate 35E in DeSoto left one man dead and two women injured in the early morning hours on Saturday.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. on November 9 in the 1400 block of North I-35E. A 26-year-old man was driving a van when it flipped onto its side in a single-vehicle crash. After exiting the overturned vehicle, the man attempted to crawl to safety but was struck by a passing car and died at the scene.
Moments later, two additional vehicles became involved in the aftermath. One struck the already-disabled van, while the other hit the second car. Two women from the third vehicle were seriously injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities are still investigating the chain-reaction incident.
