Houston, TX (November 8, 2025) – Three young adults lost their lives in a devastating DWI crash early Sunday morning in southwest Houston, and the driver responsible is now facing multiple felony charges.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal collision occurred around 1:20 a.m. on November 2 at the intersection of Almeda Road and West Orem Drive. Police say 29-year-old Tony Jerome Oliver was driving a gray Chrysler 300 at high speed when he ran a red light and slammed into a white Buick Enclave.
The force of the impact pushed the Buick into three other vehicles that were stopped at the light. The 23-year-old male driver and 24-year-old male passenger in the Buick died at the scene. A 21-year-old female passenger was ejected from the vehicle and later died at the hospital. All three victims’ names have not yet been released.
Oliver was transported in critical condition and has since been charged with intoxication manslaughter involving multiple deaths. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
