Houston, TX (August 21, 2025) – A fatal collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle claimed the life of a 61-year-old man Tuesday morning in north Houston.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. on August 19 in the 300 block of Patton Street. Police say a white Moto Guzzi motorcycle was heading eastbound when a gray Honda HR-V traveling westbound attempted a left turn into a parking lot and failed to yield the right of way.
The motorcyclist lost control of the bike during the evasive maneuver, fell to the pavement, and slid into the Honda. Emergency personnel transported the rider to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His name has not been released at this time.
The driver of the Honda, a 37-year-old woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. She showed no signs of intoxication and was released.
