Dartmouth, MA (August 23, 2025) – A serious early-morning crash on Interstate 195 in Dartmouth led to the death of a 36-year-old woman and left one passenger injured.
News sources show that troopers responded to the eastbound side of I-195 near mile marker 21 shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 23. Upon arrival, emergency crews found a red sedan with extensive damage and a woman trapped inside.
The victim, identified as Crystal Mullens of Freetown, was extricated from the wreckage but later succumbed to her injuries. A passenger traveling with her sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken for medical evaluation.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Massachusetts State Police and the Bristol District Attorney’s Office.
