Oakland, CA (August 24, 2025) – One person was killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision that shut down all southbound lanes of Interstate 880 near Hegenberger Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to reports, the crash occurred at approximately 3:48 a.m. on August 23. A semi-truck was reportedly rear-ended by another vehicle, resulting in a severe impact.
