Reseda, CA (August 24, 2025) – A man was struck and killed Friday evening by a hit-and-run driver while exiting his parked vehicle in Reseda, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to reports, the fatal incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. on August 23 along Victory Boulevard near Belmar Avenue, just west of Tampa Avenue. LAPD said the victim, a man in his 30s, had stepped out of the driver side of his parked vehicle when a black compact SUV traveling westbound veered right and struck him.
The driver of the SUV did not stop, continuing west on Victory before turning north onto Corbin Avenue. First responders arrived shortly after the crash and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
