Long Beach, CA (August 24, 2025) – Six people, including three children, were injured in a three-vehicle crash Friday evening in East Long Beach. Authorities report that one woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI following the collision.
According to reports, the crash occurred around 5:07 p.m. on August 23 in the 7500 block of East Wardlow Road, between Studebaker Road and the San Gabriel River. Investigators say two vehicles traveling westbound on Wardlow Road collided. One of those vehicles then crossed the center median and struck a third vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
Emergency responders from the Long Beach Fire Department transported three adults and three children to an area hospital. Their injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
The Long Beach Police Department confirmed that one woman driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence. The crash remains under investigation.
