Temecula, CA (August 25, 2025) – A tragic high-speed collision claimed four lives and left two others injured late Saturday night on the 15 Freeway in Temecula.
According to reports, California Highway Patrol officials say the crash occurred around 9:33 p.m. on August 24 when the driver of a BMW M4, allegedly operating recklessly, lost control north of Winchester Road. The car jumped a concrete median, entered southbound traffic, and struck a white Nissan Sentra head-on.
The BMW burst into flames upon impact. A 25-year-old man from Moreno Valley, who was driving the BMW, was rescued by good Samaritans and suffered major injuries. His front-seat passenger, a 23-year-old woman, and two teens—ages 14 and 15—were all killed in the crash. The Nissan’s 35-year-old driver from Wildomar also died while being transported to the hospital. A 22-year-old Nissan passenger remains hospitalized in critical condition.
