Neshannock Township, PA (January 8, 2025) – A fatal two-vehicle crash on Interstate 376 near mile marker 8.9 in Lawrence County resulted in the death of one person and left another seriously injured, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The incident occurred Tuesday when a Toyota Tacoma, driven by a 26-year-old woman from Youngstown, Ohio, lost control while traveling eastbound. The vehicle crossed the median, struck a guardrail, and collided with a westbound Ford Transit van.

The driver of the van, identified as Neil Plumber, 41, of Greenville, was fatally injured in the crash. The Tacoma driver sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.

State Police reported that additional crashes in the area contributed to significant delays as the roadway was closed for several hours for investigation and cleanup. Authorities continue to examine the circumstances leading up to the crash.
