According to reports, the fatal collision occurred around 8:00 p.m. on August 25 in the northbound lanes of I-69 near Methodist Hospital. Authorities say an SUV traveling at a high rate of speed struck the passenger side of a semi-truck.
The SUV’s passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin. Another individual was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries. The extent of their condition has not been disclosed.
