Fleming, NY (August 26, 2025) – A truck driver was seriously injured Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash along State Route 34 near Glanville Road in the Town of Fleming.

According to the New York State Police, deputies from the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene around 11:15 a.m. on August 25. A truck hauling an empty box trailer left the roadway, entered a ditch, and crashed into an earth embankment.

The driver sustained injuries to the head and torso and was airlifted by Mercy Flight to Upstate University Hospital for emergency care. As of now, the driver’s condition has not been publicly disclosed.
