The Honda was driven by 22-year-old Desmond Antwan Diamond of Saint Helens.

Minor was taken to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Diamond was also transported in critical condition and remains under medical care. The accident blocked the interstate for nearly five hours while crews responded to the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
