Stone County, MO (August 28, 2025) – A crash between two Ford vehicles left a child and a senior man injured Thursday afternoon near Reeds Spring.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 1:15 p.m. on August 28, 2025, at the intersection of Missouri Highway 76 and Route Y, roughly three miles west of Reeds Spring. Investigators say the driver of a 2013 Ford F-150, a 67-year-old man from Nixa, attempted to turn onto Route Y and failed to yield to an oncoming 2012 Ford Fusion.
The Ford Fusion, driven by a 25-year-old woman from Cape Fair, was traveling eastbound when the impact occurred. Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene.
A 4-year-old girl riding in the Fusion and the 67-year-old male driver of the pickup were both transported by EMS to Cox Branson Hospital with minor injuries.
