According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 8:01 p.m. on August 28 near the University Parkway exit. Two vehicles were involved in the collision, though the exact cause has not yet been determined.
At least one individual sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital. Their current condition has not been disclosed.
