Seattle, WA (September 1, 2025) – At least one person was injured Sunday evening in a two-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 405 in Seattle, prompting a medical response and traffic disruption in the area.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision occurred around 8:31 p.m. on August 31 near Exit 92 on the northbound side of I-405. Dispatch audio described it as an injury-involved, two-car crash. One of the vehicles was identified as a silver Volkswagen, which came to a stop on the left side of the roadway.
Emergency units responded to assess injuries and assist with traffic control. The severity of injuries and the number of people transported for treatment have not yet been confirmed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
