Powell, MO (September 2, 2025) – A single-vehicle rollover accident early Monday morning in McDonald County sent three people to the hospital and left a pickup truck totaled.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 7:06 a.m. on September 1 along Route E, about one mile north of Powell. A 1986 Ford Ranger was traveling northbound when it suffered an equipment failure, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and overturn.
The truck was carrying four people at the time. The driver, a 44-year-old woman from Rogers, Arkansas, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Rogers by EMS. Also injured were two passengers: a 19-year-old woman from Seligman, Missouri, and a 31-year-old man from Pea Ridge, Arkansas. A fourth occupant, a 45-year-old man from Seligman, refused treatment at the scene.
None of the vehicle’s occupants were reported to be wearing seat belts.
