Saddlebrooke, MO (September 2, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle collision on US Highway 65 near Route A sent three people to the hospital Saturday afternoon in Christian County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 12:40 p.m. on August 31, approximately one mile north of Saddlebrooke. Authorities say a 2021 Ford Escape, driven by a 73-year-old woman from Cabot, Arkansas, failed to yield while entering the highway and pulled into the path of a northbound 2020 Toyota Corolla.
The Toyota, driven by a 49-year-old man from Reeds Spring, Missouri, struck the Ford. Both vehicles veered off the left side of the roadway, and the Toyota hit a highway sign and concrete post before coming to a stop. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.
The Ford driver and both occupants of the Toyota—including a 51-year-old female passenger—sustained moderate injuries and were transported by Christian County Ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
