Chester County, PA (September 4, 2025) – A tragic sequence of events involving a deer and two vehicles claimed the life of a teenager Tuesday morning on Route 322 in West Bradford Township.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the deadly crash occurred at approximately 7:15 a.m. on September 2 near Romig Road. Authorities say a deer entered the roadway and was initially struck by a car that continued driving and left the scene.
The impact of that first collision sent the deer airborne, landing on the windshield of a second vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. A teen passenger seated in the front of the second car was critically injured and transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
The victim was identified by Malvern Preparatory School as Kevin Donahue, a student in the class of 2027.
