Jefferson County, TX (September 6, 2025) – Authorities have identified the victim of a deadly crash in west Jefferson County as 60-year-old Charles Moak of Groves. The fatal accident occurred early Friday morning, September 5, at the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 365 and U.S. Highway 90.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 4:19 a.m. A truck tractor semi-trailer was westbound on U.S. Highway 90 when a northbound Ford F-150, operated by Moak, allegedly failed to stop at a red light and struck the left side of the semi.
Moak was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was unharmed. DPS officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
