According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the accident occurred around 2:00 p.m. on September 6 near the area of Lyons Avenue. The crash involved a cement truck and two other passenger vehicles. The impact of the collision caused a hazardous materials spill on the freeway.
Emergency responders arrived promptly, and two individuals were transported to a local hospital. One of the victims reportedly suffered critical injuries, while the other’s condition has not been made public.
