Green, OH (September 8, 2025) – A 17-year-old boy has died following a tragic single-vehicle rollover crash early Sunday morning in Green, according to local authorities.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 2 a.m. on September 8 along South Arlington Road, just south of Lake Breeze Drive. Troopers say the teen was driving a 2011 Suzuki Kizashi southbound when he lost control, veered off the road, hit a ditch, and flipped the vehicle several times.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to Akron City Hospital, where he later died. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Investigators say alcohol appears to have been a factor. The teen’s name has not yet been released, pending family notification.
