A 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 69-year-old man from Cassville, was slowing in traffic due to congestion when it was rear-ended by a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 38-year-old man from Purdy.

After the initial impact, the Purdy driver’s vehicle veered off the left side of the roadway, striking a stop sign, a guide wire, and a fence before coming to rest.
