Lancaster, CA (January 13, 2025) – Two individuals sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to the hospital following a traffic collision Sunday evening in Lancaster. The incident occurred around 7:35 p.m. on State Route 138 near Old Ridge Route Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Emergency responders, including Los Angeles County firefighters, arrived at the scene and found three vehicles involved in the crash: a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck, a red Kia sedan, and a third unidentified vehicle.

Firefighters requested a helicopter to transport the injured. Two patients from the same vehicle were airlifted to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment. Their current condition remains unknown.

Highway 138 was temporarily closed between Summit Pine and Qual Lake to allow the helicopter to land and assist the injured.

Authorities are investigating the crash to determine its cause. No additional details have been released at this time.
