Authorities say the officers were transporting a suspect to a nearby processing facility when another vehicle collided with their patrol unit.
Both officers sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital. The suspect, who was seated in the rear of the vehicle at the time of the crash, also received medical treatment but remained in custody.
