Corpus Christi, TX (September 15, 2025) – A deadly early morning accident claimed two lives in Corpus Christi, including that of Rene Govea.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. on September 14 on Weber Road near Holly. Authorities reported that a vehicle attempted to make a left-hand turn without yielding, causing a serious collision that ejected three people from one of the involved vehicles. One passenger from that car died at the scene.
