Bogalusa, LA (September 15, 2025) – A 60-year-old man lost his life Saturday night after being struck by a car while walking along Louisiana Highway 21 in Washington Parish. The fatal crash occurred near the intersection with LA 3124 at approximately 9 p.m. on September 13.
According to the Louisiana State Police, the pedestrian, identified as Jackson Brown of Bogalusa, was walking in the right southbound lane when a 2023 Nissan Sentra, also traveling southbound, struck him. Brown suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
