San Antonio, TX (September 17, 2025) – A man was fatally struck by a vehicle late Monday night while crossing Rigsby Avenue on San Antonio’s East Side, authorities confirmed.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the deadly pedestrian crash occurred around 10:40 p.m. on September 15 in the 5400 block of Rigsby Avenue.
Police reported that the man, believed to be in his 50s, was crossing the street when a vehicle traveling along Rigsby Avenue struck him. Emergency responders arrived and pronounced the man deceased at the scene. His identity has not yet been released pending notification of next-of-kin.
