According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on the morning of September 15 when Jeremy White, who was riding a motorcycle southbound, attempted to pass a line of vehicles. During the maneuver, White collided head-on with an oncoming minivan.
The impact ejected White from his motorcycle, and he was subsequently struck by a southbound Dodge pickup truck that was towing a camper. Tragically, he died at the scene.
