Corbett, OR (September 22, 2025) – One person is dead and another seriously injured following a wrong-way crash early Saturday morning on Interstate 84 near Corbett, according to state authorities.
According to the Oregon State Police, the fatal accident occurred around 3:45 a.m. on September 20 near milepost 24. A vehicle was reportedly traveling in the wrong direction on the interstate when it collided head-on with another car.
The impact caused at least one of the vehicles to catch fire. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency care.
