Washington Township, OH (September 22, 2025) – A woman from Alliance was tragically killed in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday evening in Washington Township, according to state authorities.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 6:19 p.m. on September 21. Alisha Broad, 45, was driving a 2015 Cadillac Escalade westbound on Beech Street Northeast, just east of Oakhill Avenue Northeast, when she lost control of the vehicle.

Investigators say the Escalade veered off the right side of the road, struck a ditch, hit a culvert and mailbox, and overturned multiple times. Broad, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Washington Township Fire and EMS, along with Marlboro Towing, responded to assist. The incident remains under investigation.
