Centerville, PA (September 23, 2025) – A woman was killed and two others were injured following a two-vehicle collision Saturday evening in Upper Mount Bethel Township, located in Northampton County north of Easton.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred around 7 p.m. on September 21 at the intersection of Deer Run Road and Riverton Road. Investigators say a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling west on Deer Run Road when it collided with a 2022 Volkswagen Taos that was heading north on Riverton Road.

Tragically, a passenger in the Taos, identified as 63-year-old Beverly Schirripa of Bangor, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their current conditions have not been released.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash and have not confirmed the exact cause of the collision.
